Holiday Pumpkin Soufflé recipe
This festive soufflé features the best flavors of the holiday season—sweet pumpkin, warm spices, and creamy butter. Enjoy this as an appetizer or side dish among other wintry dishes.
Ingredients:
2 cups unsweetened pumpkin puree
3 eggs
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup milk
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cloves
¼ teaspoon salt
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
2) In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; beat until well mixed, about 3 minutes. Pour into prepared casserole dish; bake 65 to 75 minutes, until set in the center. Cool slightly and serve.
